Recipe For Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro

My friend Tim who recently climbed Kilimanjaro posted on his blog his “recipe” for climbing the mountain.
Here is his recipe, although I imagine people vary the ingridients a bit.
Recipe For Kilimanjaro:
- Equal parts self-confidence, stupity, and faith
- 825 mg Diamox
- Several cups of hot sugar water

My trip to the summit of Kilimanjaro was with Tusker Trail & Safari in 2004.
We climbed the, now closed, Western breach and camped on the crater just an hour below the summit. We had an outstanding adventure.
