Moshi is the town at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and is usually the starting point for planning most Kilimanjaro trips. It has a good network of hotels, food, markets, Internet Cafes and is just big enough to keep you excited. It’s a much better base than Arusha, as Moshi is laid back, easy and there isn’t the hassles and chaos of Arusha.
Court Ries recently spent some time in Moshi and was able to review a few of the hotels and restaurants.
