Most Kilimanjaro climbers don’t arrive at the actual summit before sunrise. Most of them are very, very close to the top, within a few hundred yards (that could take an hour) or somewhere near Stella’s Point or Gilliman’s Point. These two bad-ass New Yorkers are sitting up the top, waiting for the sun to come. Good job Lee and Jacob, who organized their trip with Bootsnall.
Great caption Donovan–thats great, we were both cracking up. Awesome trip and that was an amazing moment that only people who have actually summited can understand.
