Kilimanjaro Summit Picture

groupsummit.jpgI always like the group photographs in front of the sign on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. They are always so different and unique even though it’s the same picture. Sometimes it’s dark, cold – the climbers look exhausted. Other times it’s full of people in the back ground, others clamoring to get their pictures taken too. This picture – with 3 of my clients – the people actually look pretty happy. You never know quite what to expect. Good job ladies – and you too Sherpa Ken.

Amazing experience! Each one of us in our group, three ladies and yes, Sherpa Ken who shot this photo, made it to the summit thanks to two amazing guides and 9 porters all coordinated by Donovan. Thanks Donovan for a very well planned trip, you truly are the Kilimanjaro Expert! And yes, that is a smile on my face (second to the left, in black).
