When most people climb Kilimanjaro, they generally have a day pack, to carry some extra food, water, a bit of clothes, and anything else you need during the day. However, since rain storms happen on a regular basis, it’s good to keep your day packs out of the rain. Even if it’s waterproof, I suggest you get something like this.
