Here is a picture of Barafu Camp, your last night for ascending Kilimanjaro. It’s a very rocky, windy camp site set on the side of a major cliff and overlooking an enormous valley. If you are above the clouds, it’s quite beautiful as you can see the top of Kilimanjaro.
This is a very windy camp, so you should be prepared to spend lots of time in your tent. If you came from Karanga Camp, you should have a good portion of the day to relax, and to go to bed early, as you get up at around 11:00 to 12:00, to start your final ascent of Kilimanjaro.
