This is the climb option for budget travelers and backpackers. A stripped down service where you carry all your own food, supplies and expedition gear and we arrange for the minimum Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) mandated crew of guides and porters.

You will be provided with the most basic guiding standards available on Kilimanjaro for the purpose of circumventing many of the heavy costs usually related the expedition. You should therefore not consider this option unless you are confident in your abilities to summit with a minimum of local expert support.
