Peter Baxter is an Anglo/African, author, Africanist and professional mountain and field guide with more than twenty years experience guiding in the sub-equatorial region. He has traveled the length and breadth of the continent, and has climbed and guided in locations as varied as the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda, Kilimanjaro, Chimanimani Mountains in Zimbabwe and the Drakensberg in South Africa.
